Returns and Exchanges

For damaged/faulty items (exception applicable to Kiwy & Omababy Cube products) upon receipt, we are happy to replace the item or offer refund the value of the item. Please contact us within 14 days of receipt of delivery. Only unused items are eligible. .  

We kindly request that you carefully inspect your order upon receipt and notify us promptly in the event of any visual defects, damages, or incorrect items. Our team will diligently evaluate the issue and make every effort to rectify the situation to your satisfaction. Your timely communication is essential for us to provide prompt assistance and ensure that you receive the correct and undamaged product.

Omababy does not offer refunds on goods due to change of mind and we do not offer exchanges. If you would like an alternate item or colour, please contact us immediately prior to us dispatching your order.

To be eligible for a return:

  • your item must be deemed to be manufacturer defects or faulty and been approved to be returned by Omababy. 
  • your item must be covered under the products 12 months manufacturer warranty.  
  • You will also need the tax invoice or proof of purchase.

Please allow 7-14 business days time frame for faulty items rectification by the manufacturer. 

To initiate a return, you may contact us at omababyau@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We are not responsible for products returned to us without a tracking number. The item remains your responsibility until it reaches our hand and proof of delivery is provided. 

A confirmation email will be sent out once item has been received for processing.

Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and original shipping cost.  Any other related expenses such as custom duties/import taxes / verification costs is non-refundable.

REFUND

Refunds are only available if the item is faulty beyond repair. Please allow 2 weeks for processing before contacting us for an update.

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and you will be informed if the refund has been approved or not. If it has been approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method which usually takes between 3-7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Alternatively, you can opt to be refunded in the form of store credit.

 

ORDERS


All orders placed are final and cannot be cancelled. Please ensure you order the correct item, colour, size and quantity.

SALE ITEMS

We do not refund sale goods. These item/s are final sale item/s and can not be returned or exchanged unless deemed faulty. 


Refunds for credit notes are not available. Should you wish to return an order purchased with a credit note, another credit note will be provided.

 

Faulty Items

Our products have guarantees that are recognised under the Australian Consumer Law. In the unfortunate event that our products are faulty, we will comply with our obligations pursuant to the Australian Consumer Law and Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC). For further information about your rights please visit https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers

If there is a major problem with the product, please contact us immediately to rectify and Omababy will offer you a replacement of the product if it is deemed as manufacturer's defect after our investigation. 

Under Consumer Guarantees, a product or good has a major problem when:

  • it has a fault that would have stopped you from purchasing it if you had known about it beforehand 
  • it is significantly different from the sample or description item 
  • it is substantially not fit for its intended use and the problem cannot be fixed within a reasonable time 
  • it does not do what you asked for before making the purchase and the problem cannot be fixed within a reasonable time; or 
  • it is not safe to use. 

If the problem is not major, Omababy will either replace the item or repair it within a reasonable time. If we cannot repair the product within a reasonable time, we will offer a replacement of the product or provide a refund at your choice.

Please inspect your order once you have received them and contact us immediately by emailing us at omababyau@gmail.com if the item is found defective or damaged. We may need to send the item to the manufacturer for assessment to determine whether or not you are entitled to an exchange, refund, or repair. If the manufacturer deems your item/s faulty, then we may offer a replacement as a solution or refund in the form of store credit. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

After the verification process by the technician, if your item is tested in good working condition and it is not deemed defective, the item will be shipped back to the designated shipping address.

If you choose to return items that are not defective after the verification process we may offer a partial refund as a solution. Please note that shipping costs, 20% - 30% of restocking fee and $20 technician verification fee is not refundable. 

If you receive the incorrect item/colour for your order, please email us at omababyau@gmail.com, we will evaluate and provide return postage label for the incorrect item and post you your correct order item/colour.
